How to Add Global Flair to Your Wardrobe
We’ve all been there. You spy a dress, a bag, a necklace, or a pair of boots you love and the next thing you know, you’ve stopped a total stranger to breathlessly ask where she got it.
How disappointing when she casually drawls that it’s from a little flea market in Paris or mountaintop village in Peru and then saunters off, leaving you to rue the lack of global flair in your own wardrobe. Covet no more: the Muzungu Sisters have got your back in international fashion.
“Muzungu” is Swahili for wanderer or traveler, and founders Dana Alikhani and Tatiana Santo Domingo live up to the name. They travel the globe sourcing exclusive artisan creations to promote both cultural diversity and fair labor practices – all while oozing style. We caught up with Tatiana to find out a bit more about what makes her tick.
