Bold Shirts, Good Cause
What you wear says a lot about who you are. We use clothing to send messages to the world. Our clothes can proclaim our politics, advertise our purchasing habits, or even reveal our hopes. What impression would you like to give?
Barnabas Clothing makes clothes for the bold. Instead of selling the same old T-shirts and hoodies, Barnabas makes threads that speak loudly. Their signature message? Live a life worth imitating.
The Backstory
The lifestyle and clothing brand was founded by former model and photographer Alexander Aquino. Inspired by his time spent working with youth as a mentor and teacher, Alexander decided to create a clothing line to celebrate their energy and honesty. He believes that in order for there to be positive change in the world, "youth everywhere must continually be inspired by a message of courage." Through his designs, Alexander seeks to inspire kids to go out there and be themselves. Be weird and wacky—or just be comfortable in your own skin.
Words Matter
The name "barnabas" literally means "Son of Encouragement." And that's what the company is all about: Encouraging customers to be themselves.
The Good News...
