Five Spring Must-Haves From Harabu House
Being a cultural curator is hard work. It's not always easy to pick the best and brightest items out of a lineup, which is why we value shops like Harabu House, where all the hard work is done for you in advance. This lovely little online retailer stocks the most gorgeous home goods, accessories, and fabrics around. And to make it even sweeter, all items are global-chic and eco-friendly.
Since Harabu House is such a fabulous shopping destination, we asked the stylish founder Shilpa Iyer to name a few of her favorite things for Spring. Out of all their lust-worthy pieces, she picked five must-have items, from vintage bowls to pretty purses. Take it away, Shilpa!
(Clockwise from top left)
1. Daphne Strands: They come in such lovely spring hues, like the mint and fuchsia. It's so easy to grab a few strands, create endless color combinations, and pair it with any outfit.
2. French Market Basket: Though we're not quite in the season for farmers' markets just yet, I leave this large woven tote from Morocco in my car, and use it to carry a blanket, frisbee and balls, for those spur of the moment trips to the park.
3. Opal Clutch by Mar Y Sol: I just can't get over their new Spring colors - especially their Aqua and Coral. These understated pieces just brighten up any outfit.
4. Handmade Vintage Ikat Ceramic Bowls: When I found these beautiful vintage bowls in Istanbul, in that gorgeous orange, I knew I had to get a few. I've been using it to hold my jewelry, but they're just too pretty to keep hidden. In fact, we just got them in small, medium and large, and in a range of other colors, too!
5. Handmade Clutch by Tulu: And finally, since I’m a "clutch" girl, I had to include my latest acquisition from Istanbul. This handmade clutch in a beautiful hand silk screened aqua fabric just screams Spring to me!
