Famine is man made.
It should not be the case.
30,000 children have died in the past 3 months from hunger. How many more are going to die before the situation is given the attention it needs?
Abnormally high food prices, lack of security and governance in Somalia, and a lack of investment in the Horn have led to this crisis.
This is the worst drought in 30 years.
200 million more people are on the brink and in need of help.
We created Milkshake so we could have a voice – on fun stuff and real stuff. This is one of those big issues that we ask you to stop for a minute to take the time to sign a petition encouraging Congress to fund Feed the Future and help break the cycle of famine for good.
