Good Worldly Goods
Ingrid Lee is a gal on the go, having traveled extensively during graduate school and later while working on international development projects at the United Nations and World Bank.
Inspired by her travels, she began to collect and curate global products, hand selecting the most beautiful clothing and design items made by local artisans, eventually starting a company.
UNITEDESIGN sources products directly from the artisans, often without access to international markets. One-of-a-kind products are painstakingly made by hand using techniques passed from one generation to the next, often requiring weeks or even months to finish a single item.
The items are not only beautiful, but also functional and stylish. Colorful woven tote bags are perfect for grocery shopping (bonus points for bringing your own bag) or trips to the beach. Airy, intricately embroidered cotton blouses from Mexico can be thrown over jeans or shorts for casual weekends. Vibrant hand-painted serving trays, bowls, and spoons create festive dinner parties.
Hard to choose from all the colorful and unique items, maybe because we want it all, one thing we know is that every time we visit the site we feel like throwing a fiesta! Ole!!
