MY HERO is an online resource for students of all ages. It uses media and technology to showcase and celebrate the best of humanity. By creating a library of art, film and pages for all to view, it empowers young people to realize their own potential to effect positive change in the world. It also features the work of award winning photojournalists, renown writers and artists sharing their stories.

MY HERO is a not-for-profit project that encourages people from all over the world to share their stories and acknowledge their heros through media. The work comes from 194 countries around the world.

Teachers use the programs in schools, libraries, after-school workshops, and in community and media centers.

You can spend hours on MY HERO being inspired by what others are doing to make the world a better place. You will also be inspired to tell your own story about a personal hero.
