Home Sweet Home
Heartfelt goods -- impacting the world and making "home sweet home" even sweeter.

Jot It Down
Global Goods Partners is a nonprofit organization that sells handmade, fair trade products in order to improve the economic status of women in marginalized communities around the world.
Partnered with 40 artisan groups collectively employing more than 3,000 women in almost 20 countries, this force for good offers objects of beauty like these silk journals with bold floral prints ($25) and the clay spice bowl set above ($45).

Breathe It In
A one-stop shop for American-made goods ranging from stationery and soap to pajamas and candles, Homespun American Goods offers limited-run pieces made by artists and small family manufacturers across the U.S.
Case in point: this scrumptious, grapefruit-scented Nest candle ($14), known for filling the senses with organic aromas of zesty citrus fruits to perk up your day.

Wrap It Up
Since volunteering with Afghan women in 2006 and being touched by their craftsmanship, talent and heart, Zaanha founder Wendy Summer has dedicated herself to providing a sustainable way for them to make a living from their work and benefit local children's education in the process.
Proceeds from goods like scarves, shawls and throws ($40 and above) go to the Zaanha foundation, sending Afghan kids to school. And extra donations are accepted at checkout, too; $40, for example, buys a student desk and chair, while a simple gift of $5 provides 100 new pencils. Simple, brilliant math indeed.
