Cheers! Let’s all toast Ted Danson for not only is he a great actor but a long time advocate for conservation of America’s oceans. He is a board member of Oceana.org, a nonprofit aimed at protecting our planets’ most important resource. He has lobbied for ocean conservation in front of both Congress and the Senate. He has narrated The End of the Line, a documentary about the perils of overfishing and what a devasting effect it will have on the oceans. "I’ve been involved in ocean conservation for decades, and in that time, a lot has changed, but a lot has stayed the same. Last year I decided it was time to write it all down before I get too old to tell the difference" said Ted, and that's exactly what he did by writing Oceana, a new book that outlines and explains ocean degradation, the efforts to stop it, and what we all can do to help.
