Key To The Heart
Every day, we carry keys around. They open doors to offices, our homes. They keep our stuff safe at the gym and our cars locked while we're in yoga class. But these little trinkets can also do a world of good—especially if it is a GIVING KEY.

Why We Love It!
The Giving Keys is a jewelry line started by Caitlin Crosby. The necklaces are fairly simple—from each chain dangles a single, engraved key—but every piece is unique. They are made to order, and can hold whatever eight-letter message you desire. The result is a tough-yet-feminine, one-of-a-kind accessory that does a lot more than simply open doors.
The Good News
After getting to know a homeless couple that lived on Hollywood Boulevard, Crosby decided she needed to find a way to help them—and others like them—out of their situation. In the two years since Crosby founded The Giving Keys, they have raised enough money to help Cera and Rob off the streets and into college. Additional funds will go to supporting the shelters and transitional homes that were effective in aiding their transformation.

It Gets Better...
But Crosby didn't want The Giving Key to be a simple purchase. She stipulates on the website that every key must be given away at some point "to the person who you feel needs the message that's on your key." In this way, Caitlin's keys are continually paying it forward, bringing new joy to each owner.
