If you have a spare hour –and truly that is all it will take – check out tumblr. It is an uber easy to use blogging system that allows you to create a blog in minutes. But the best thing about it is you can re-blog posts from people you are following – filling your page not only with your own original thoughts and ideas, but those that you admire from others.

We use Milkshake’s tumblr page as our digital mood board – pinning up our ideas, inspirations, quotes, photos. We follow people who inspire us and re-blog their ideas as they do ours.

Here are the easy steps for you to create your own. Please share it with us and tell us your tumblr url and we will follow and inspire each other!

1. Go to tumblr.com and create an account, pick a theme and jump right in
2. Tumblr handles seven kinds of posts (we prefer the images more than anything else) – Links, Conversations, Photos, Quotes, Audio Clips, Videos and Text Only. You can even add in your own music!
3. Tumblr will give you your own URL – http://yourname.tumblr.com
4. Once you are set up you find your images, links, quotes or text you want to post and post away by clicking on the dashboard.
