Salt & Pepper, Bread & Butter, Bloody Mary’s & Football
Another classic go-together- football just wouldn’t be the same without a bloody mary during tailgate time or sitting in front of the big screen with your pals.
The McClure’s Bloody Mary Mix is naturally ideal with vodka but it can also serve as a healthy vegetable juice, a zesty marinade or as the fiery ingredient in a bowl of gumbo.
Using the brine from their own spicy pickles as the base, McClure's mix is a family recipe spanning generations of use. These guys know a thing or two about pickles, starting in 2006 , they made them in their Michigan kitchen and now each jar is made in either Detroit or Brooklyn (where the brotherly duo are individually based).
Every batch is made by hand and contains locally-sourced ingredients—starting with cayenne and habanero peppers for the brine and topped off with tomato paste and fresh pressed cucumber juice. Every jar is hand packed, the cucumbers hand sliced, and the labels are printed by Rolling Press, an eco friendly company that use soy and vegetables inks with chemical-free plating .
