Hope Springs In Ethiopia
Sometimes it can be tough deciding where to donate. Even with so many good causes out there, it can be difficult to discern which ones will truly make a difference. Want to give back and see results? Try lending a hand to A Glimmer of Hope.

The Basics
A Glimmer of Hope works to lift women and children out of extreme poverty by focusing on clean water, healthcare, education and microfinance. Since their inception, A Glimmer of Hope has built 4,000 water projects, 335 school buildings and 170 health facilities, as well as distributing 17,000 microfinance loans across rural Ethiopia over the past 10 years. Talk about doing good!

Why It's Good...
Ethiopia is the 7th fastest growing world economy. But eight in ten Ethiopians live in poverty, half the country has no access to healthcare, and 40% of children will never attend school. A Glimmer of Hope seeks to address these issues by focusing on four different areas of development: water, health, education, and microfinance.

Who's Involved
After making millions in the dot-com world, the organization’s co-founder, Philip Berber, took an entrepreneurial approach to aid in the fight to eradicate cyclical poverty. He co-founded A Glimmer of Hope with his wife Donna to (in his own words) "help relieve some of the pain on the planet because we believed there had to be a better way of implementing international aid."

100% of all donations will go directly to the field requested by the donor.
