A must read book!

The Little Princes

The Little Princes, by Conor Grennan, is a book that will leave you feeling good—from the first page to the last. It follows Connor, about to turn 30, as he decides to leave his everyday life for a year to travel the world. He plans to spend the first three months of his trip volunteering in the Little Princes Orphanage in Nepal, though Conor was probably the last person you would have pegged for volunteering. In fact, he is the first to admit that he was probably more excited to brag about his good deeds than he was about actually volunteering.

But despite his expectations, the experience ends up changing his life. Conor quickly discovers that the kids he had grown to love were not actually orphans. Instead, most of the children had been taken from their homes and families by child traffickers, their parents tricked into thinking their kids were being taken to safety to protect them from the disastrous civil war. These so-called “orphans” were sold and abused, and their parents were none the wiser.
Conor’s journey is riveting and demanding—both physically and emotionally.  This unlikely volunteer ends up risking his life to reunite the children of the orphanage back with their families. Eventually, he uses his knowledge and newly discovered passion for philanthropy to found the organization Next Generation Nepal, which is dedicated to reconnecting trafficked children in rural villages in Nepal.

Today Conor is married to Liz, who he met when she volunteered with Next Generation Nepal. Like her husband, Liz lives to give back. She launched Still the Sea, an online store offering lifestyle items that are beautiful, useful and spiritually significant. 10% of all proceeds from all sales go to help abolish human trafficking.

Want to support Liz and Connor’s amazing work? We are offering a Milkshake Deal on Still the Sea through tomorrow—receive $55 worth of items for only $35. And while you’re shopping, consider picking up a copy of The Little Princes. We promise this is one book you won’t regret reading.
