Ralph Lauren is known not only for his vast fashion empire but also for his philanthropic endeavors such as his Pink Pony Campaign. So it is not surprising that he has joined forces with the United Way Worldwide and designed a limited edition polo to support the relief effort in Japan. 100% of the proceeds for each shirt will be donated to the humanitarian effort via the United Way.
The cotton mesh polo has the traditional ribbed polo collar, armbands and two-button placket. The front and back of the shirt both sport the Japanase characters for "hope", making it tough to decide which side of the shirt we love more! The men's classic fit style is available in navy, black and white. Women can choose between navy and white in the skinny fit.
The “Japan Hope” polo shirt will be sold at select Bloomingdale’s and Macy’s, as well as online through Ralph Lauren and Rugby.
