We’re Seeing Red
December 1st - the day advent calendars start and the countdown to Christmas, Hannukah and Kwanzaa begins. It is also the day designated as World Aids Day, giving people across the world a chance to unite in the effort to eradicate AIDS and remember those who lost their battle with the disease.
Maggie Betts, the genius behind a new documentary, The Carrier, a film about a family and community trying to emanicapte AIDS from the next generation, is showing the poignant film online today for one night only and the proceeds go to the Global Fund to fight AIDs in Africa.
You can also tune in today at 10:00 (EST) for a live panel discussion brought to you by The One Campaign and powered by YouTube, featuring President George W. Bush, President Bill Clinton, Bono, Alicia Keys and other leaders in the fight against AIDS.
Red is not only a color of power, it is a color of hope - wear it in good health.
