Catch a Wave
There is still plenty of summer left, and playing in the surf on an eco handplane is guaranteed to bring out the kid in everyone. (Just remember that kids don't often like to share!)
You are guaranteed countless hours of fun in the surf with these sweet looking boards that are super portable. Just slip the board on your hand and off you go, making wave riding all the more exciting.
Ed Lewis and Kipp Denslow started Enjoy Handplanes as a way to save broken surfboards, old wetsuits and production waste from going to the landfills. The handplanes are made with old foam from broken boards and neoprene from used wetsuits make the handles. Each handplane is shaped and custom glassed, providing a second chance to a once loved board. And just for good measure, Ed and Kipp give a percentage of sales to charities that help the environment.
The greener blue handplane helps support Save the Waves and a portion of sales from the ReRip board is used to create accountability, measurability and sustainably in the surf industry through RERIP.org's reduce, reuse, reride program.
All we can say is you better snatch up a few, as we are sure everyone on the beach will be wanting to have a go on yours!
