Go Green, Watch TV, Sit on Your Couch!
NBC has declared this week GREEN WEEK.
Forget the multi colored peacock, NBC continues to go green-view the programming guide for NBC and see green starting with the Today Show and finishing with Last Call with Carson Daly.
You can once again expect favorite comedies “30 Rock” and “The Office” to carry some green themes. We’re sure Liz Lemon on “30 Rock” won’t let us down on the green jokes. For “The Office”, Michael Scott will apparently try to help the planet with recycling, while Dwight pens “a love poem to Mother Earth”. Mad Money, on CNBC, will look at one green company stock per day and its profitability. MSNBC’s Morning Joe will include a five-day series on alternative energy and the United States’ dependence on foreign oil, and Today on NBC is going to cover green cleaning products and reducing energy and water use.
NBC News' Brian Williams will conduct an exclusive one-on-one interview on Nov. 19 with Prince Charles, who talks about his efforts to prevent global warming and why he wants to be "the defender of nature".
NBC has embedded green messages in most of their hit shows this week- “Law and Order”, “Undercovers” and “Parenthood”, Project Runway, Top Chef and Fast Money all go green as well.
Tune in this week and see how many great green practices you can spot.
