By this point, you've probably already planned out your New Year's events. But whether your itinerary includes booking a babysitter for a grand night out or staying in and sipping champagne on the couch after the kiddos head to bed, there is one party you can't miss: Noo's Digital Bash.

This charitable idea is the brainchild of The Noo Group Ltd. (pronounced "new), a creative startup out of NYC. In efforts to promote positive change, they've decided to host an online party on New Year's Eve, 2011 to raise money for charity:water. "I thought switching a calendar year is a somewhat meaningless act," explains Mahdad Taheri, a driving force behind the digital party. "We wanted to make a more meaningful celebration, one that would reflect what we're actually doing as the year changes."

As for their choice of causes, Taheri told Milkshake Kids: "clean water is a root problem. Clean water has a great impact on health and education in troubled regions, but I believe the total impact will be even bigger globally. Take care of the root and a new kind of flower will bloom. I think we'd all enjoy seeing that flower."
