Better Butter
It's a well-known fact amongst kids that the tastiest things in life often come from the simplest combinations: macaroni and cheese, apples and honey, and the age-old classic, PB&J. But while you might think it's impossible to improve upon the lunchbox staple, one company is ready to prove you wrong. Enter: Justin's Nut Butter.
Founded by Justin Gold, a self-professed nut fiend, this Colorado company sets itself apart by making small batches of natural and organic nut butters in some seriously delicious combinations. Though traditionalists might opt for the classic peanut, chocoholics can get their fix with chocolate hazelnut butter and foodies will drool for the maple almond mixture. Pair that with some fig jam and you've got a sandwich even a cooler-than-thou teenager could love.
But Justin's Nut Butter doesn't just make delicious spreads from our favorite legumes—they also give back to charity. Justin's has teamed up with the grass-roots organization Conscious Alliance to alleviate youth hunger and provide awareness through outreach programs like "Art that Feeds." So far, they have raised over $12,000 for charity and donated thousands of pounds of nut butter to Conscious Alliance.
