Good Art For A Great Cause
Looking for a way to brighten your child's bedroom while supporting a fantastic cause? Look no further, because we've found the perfect project: Heartwork.
Heartworks is a collaboration between a group of talented artists, who donated their time to develop a series of quirky-cute prints, and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The way it works is simple. Every time you buy a print through their online shop, you help the hospital raise money to fund art programs at The Target House, a home-away-from-home for the families of children suffering from life-threatening illnesses.
And can we just say that we heart these prints? Not only are they colorful and fun, but they're also sweetly symbolic. Each poster features an adorable elephant—the Target House mascot—which represents family, long life, strength and playfulness.
The collection doesn't go on sale until April, but you can get a headstart on your shopping (and learn a bit more about the admirable program) by clicking here.
St. Jude is the only pediatric cancer research center where families never pay for treatment not covered by insurance. For the past 50 years, St. Jude has been helping children with cancer—and their families—cope with the illness both physically and mentally.
