Finding a Solution

Katy and Philip Leakey found themselves simply giving money, food and housing to local Maasai families after a devastating flood in 2001.  Realizing their resources would eventually run out, they came up with a sustainable solution, helping local artisans sell their wares through a fair trade arrangement, paying them for their work and directing profits toward the education of local children.
